DRDO DIPR Delhi Recruitment 2026: Apply for Various Apprentice Posts

The Defence Institute of Psychological Research (DIPR), Delhi, under the Defence Research & Development Organisation (DRDO), Ministry of Defence, has released an apprenticeship opportunity for ITI pass-out candidates. The recruitment is being conducted for 24 Apprentice vacancies in various relevant trades. Candidates holding ITI qualifications from SCVT or NCVET-certified institutions can apply for the available apprenticeship positions.

The available trades include Steward, Desktop Publishing Operator, Secretariat Assistant – English/Hindi, Photographer, COPA, IT/IT ESM and Multimedia & Web Page Designer. The apprenticeship training duration for eligible ITI pass-outs is generally 12 months after rebate, with a monthly stipend ranging from ₹9,600 to ₹10,560, depending on the trade. Candidates should have passed ITI in the relevant trade. The notification specifically includes candidates certified under SCVT and NCVET. Applicants must also satisfy the educational and physical qualification requirements applicable to their respective trade under NAPS 2.0.

Candidates must satisfy the minimum and maximum age conditions prescribed under the Apprentices Act, 1961, Apprenticeship Rules, 1992 and applicable guidelines, as amended from time to time. Selection will primarily be based on the marks obtained in the relevant qualifying examination/trade. DRDO DIPR Delhi Recruitment 2026 Apprenticeship Conditions

The apprenticeship training period is 12 months and is not extendable. The apprenticeship contract will be executed online through the NAPS-Apprenticeship Portal. Selected candidates will also be required to submit a Police Verification Certificate after joining, as applicable.

The prescribed stipend will be paid monthly through the specified banking mode. Candidates may be required to provide valid bank account details linked with Aadhaar at the time of joining. DIPR will not provide government quarters, hostel accommodation or transport facilities during the apprenticeship period.

Completion of the apprenticeship does not provide any right to regular employment or extension of training at DIPR. The organization has no obligation to offer employment after the prescribed apprenticeship period.
