Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), Maidan Garhi, New Delhi has released Recruitment for Non-Teaching Positions under Advertisement No. 69/2026/Admn. 1. Technical Assistant – LMS

• B.E. (CS/IT) / B.Tech (CS/IT) / M.Sc. (CS/IT) / MCA.
• Minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade.
• At least 3 years’ experience in Learning Management Systems, including installation, configuration, customization and administration.
• Experience with platforms such as Moodle, Canvas or Blackboard is relevant.
• Experience in e-content deployment, course management, user management and online assessment systems is required.

2. Technical Assistant – Networking

• B.E. (CS/IT) / B.Tech (CS/IT) / M.Sc. (CS/IT) / MCA.
• Minimum 55% marks.
• At least 3 years’ experience in enterprise-level network infrastructure, HCI infrastructure, mini-cloud management, Palo Alto and F5 technologies.
• Experience with routers, switches, VLANs, VPNs, wireless networks and backup/disaster recovery is desirable.

3. Technical Assistant – Animator

• B.E. (CS/IT) / B.Tech (CS/IT) / M.Sc. (CS/IT) / MCA with 55% marks.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in 2D/3D animation, multimedia content development, motion graphics, VFX, graphic designing and video editing.
• Experience with Autodesk Maya, Blender, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Animate or Premiere Pro is desirable.

4. Technical Assistant – Game Designer

• B.E. (CS/IT) / B.Tech (CS/IT) / M.Sc. (CS/IT) / MCA with 55% marks.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in game design/development, interactive multimedia, 2D/3D game assets, UI/UX design, game testing and deployment.
• Experience with Unity, Unreal Engine, Blender, Autodesk Maya or Adobe Creative Suite is desirable.

5. Technical Assistant – VR/AR Application Development

• B.E. (CS/IT) / B.Tech (CS/IT) / M.Sc. (CS/IT) / MCA with 55% marks.
• Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience in VR/AR application development, interactive 3D content, immersive learning applications, UI/UX for VR and deployment of VR applications.
• Experience with Unity, Unreal Engine, Blender, Autodesk Maya, Oculus SDK, OpenXR, Vuforia, ARCore or ARKit is desirable.

6. Technical Assistant – Artificial Intelligence

• B.E. (CS/IT) / B.Tech (CS/IT) / M.Sc. (CS/IT) / MCA with 55% marks.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in AI application development, machine learning/deep learning, NLP, Generative AI, data analytics, predictive modelling or intelligent systems.
• Experience with Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch or Scikit-learn is relevant.

Technical Manager Posts

For Technical Manager positions, the essential educational qualification is B.E. (CS/IT) / B.Tech (CS/IT) / M.Sc. (CS/IT) / MCA with 55% marks or equivalent grade, along with at least 5 years of relevant post-qualification experience in the concerned specialization.

Assistant Director Posts

For Assistant Director positions, the essential qualification is B.E. (CS/IT) / B.Tech (CS/IT) / M.Sc. (CS/IT) / MCA with 55% marks or equivalent grade, together with at least 10 years of relevant experience in the concerned technical field.

The closing date of the online application is the prescribed date for determining age, qualification and experience unless otherwise specified. Applicable age relaxation will be provided according to Government of India rules.

The corresponding pre-revised scales mentioned in the notification are ₹15,600–₹39,100 with GP ₹5,400 for Level 10 posts and ₹9,300–₹34,800 with GP ₹4,800 for Level 8 posts.
