JEE Main 2023 Session-2: National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the notification for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main Examination 2023 Session-2. Eligible candidates can apply online for the JEE Main 2023 from jeemain.nta.nic website.in starting from February 15, 2023. The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE (Main) comprises two papers. Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech.) is conducted for admission to Undergraduate Engineering Programs (B.E/B. Tech) at NITs, IIITs, other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs), Institutions/Universities funded/recognized by participating State Governments. It is also an eligibility test for JEE (Advanced), conducted for admission to IITs. Paper 2 is conducted for admission to B. Arch and B. Planning courses in the Country.
For Academic Session 2023-24, it has been decided that the JEE (Main) โ 2023 will be conducted in two Sessions i.e. Session 1 (January 2023) and Session 2 (April 2023).

JEE Main 2023 Age Limit
For appearing in the JEE (Main) โ 2023, there is no age limit for the candidates. The candidates who have passed the class 12 or equivalent examination in 2021, 2022, or appearing in 2023 irrespective of their age can appear in JEE (Main) โ 2023 examination. However, the candidates may be required to fulfill the age criteria of the Institute(s) to which they are desirous of taking admission.
Educational Qualification for JEE Mains 2023
For B.E/ B.Tech: Passed qualifying examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subjects.
For B.Arch: 12th Pass with Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry
For B.Planning: 12th Pass with Mathematics
JEE Main 2023 Exam Pattern
JEE (Main) – 2023 will be conducted in 13 languages i.e. English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu. In the first session of JEE (Main) – 2023, only Session 1 will be visible and candidates can opt for that. In the next session, Session 2 will be visible, and the candidates can opt for that Session.
The application window for Session 2 will be re-opened as per the details available in the Information Bulletin and will also be notified separately through a Public Notice.
