AFCAT 2/2025 Notification: Apply for Indian Air Force Commissioned Officer Posts

AFCAT 2/2025: Indian Air Force (IAF) invites online applications from eligible Indian men and women to join as Commissioned Officers in Flying and Ground Duty (Technical and Non-Technical) branches through AFCAT 2 2025. This includes NCC Special Entry for Flying Branch. The courses will commence in July 2026 at the Air Force Academy, Dundigal (Hyderabad).

AFCAT 2 2025 Age Limit

  • Flying Branch: 20 to 24 years as on 01 July 2026 (Born between 02 July 2002 and 01 July 2006).
    Candidates with valid DGCA Commercial Pilot License: Upper age limit relaxable to 26 years.
  • Ground Duty (Technical/Non-Technical): 20 to 26 years as on 01 July 2026 (Born between 02 July 2000 and 01 July 2006).

  • EKT (for Technical Branch):
    • Duration: 45 minutes
    • Subjects: Mechanical, Computer Science, or Electrical & Electronics
    • Total Marks: 150

Eligible candidates must apply online through https://afcat.cdac.in from 02 June to 01 July 2025. Separate applications are required for AFCAT and NCC Special Entry.
