CSIR NAL MTS Recruitment 2026: Apply for Multi Tasking Staff Posts

CSIR-National Aerospace Laboratories (CSIR-NAL), Bengaluru has released Advertisement No. 11/2026 for recruitment to the post of Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) on a direct recruitment basis. A total of 06 MTS posts are available under ST, OBC (NCL), EWS and UR categories. The application process will be conducted through hard copy only, and applications must be sent through Speed Post/Courier.

The prescribed application form can be submitted from 12 August 2026 and the last date for receipt of the hard-copy application is 21 September 2026 up to 5:00 PM. MTS Job Duties

Selected candidates may be required to perform duties including maintenance of records/files, general cleanliness and upkeep of sections, carrying files and papers, photocopying/scanning, delivery and collection of dak, diary/dispatch/filing work, opening and closing office rooms, assisting in meetings and other routine office support duties.

CSIR NAL MTS Recruitment 2026 Age Limit

The candidate must be at least 18 years old and the maximum age limit for UR candidates is 25 years as on the last date of receipt of the hard-copy application, i.e. 21 September 2026. Age relaxation will be applicable as per Government of India/CSIR rules. ST candidates get 5 years relaxation and OBC (NCL) candidates get 3 years relaxation. Other applicable relaxations, including those for PwBD, Ex-Servicemen and eligible women candidates, will be provided according to the prescribed rules.

Candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria and recommended by the Screening-cum-Selection Committee will be called for an OMR Based Objective Type Multiple Choice Competitive Written Examination. The merit list will be prepared on the basis of candidates’ performance in the written examination. The written examination will be conducted in Bengaluru only.

The selected candidates will be appointed subject to document verification and fulfilment of all prescribed eligibility conditions.
