DSSSB District Courts Recruitment 2026 – Apply Online for 641 Posts

Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB) has released Advertisement No. 04/2026 for the Combined Examination 2026 for recruitment in Delhi District & Sessions Courts and Family Courts. The recruitment includes Senior Personal Assistant, Personal Assistant, Junior Judicial Assistant, Process Server and Peon/Orderly/Dak Peon posts. The online application process starts from 06 October 2026 and the last date to apply is 04 November 2026.

A total of 641 vacancies have been notified under Post Codes 805/26 to 808/26. Candidates are required to apply online through the DSSSB application portal, and eligibility varies according to the post. The selection process includes written examination along with skill test, driving test and/or interview wherever applicable.

DSSSB District Courts Recruitment 2026 Age Limit

The prescribed age limit is 18 to 27 years, with the age being calculated as on 01 June 2026. Candidates must have been born between 02 June 1999 and 01 June 2008. Age relaxation is available to eligible reserved and special categories as per the notification.

DSSSB District Courts Recruitment 2026 Selection Process

Selection will be conducted according to the examination scheme applicable to each post. Depending on the post, the process consists of Tier-I written/MCQ examination, Tier-II descriptive or driving/skill test, Tier-III skill test/interview and Tier-IV interview. The final merit list will be prepared by the Delhi District Courts as prescribed in the respective examination scheme.

Senior Personal Assistant / Personal Assistant

  • Tier-I: MCQ – 90 Marks, 90 Minutes
  • Tier-II: Descriptive English – 75 Marks, 90 Minutes
  • Tier-III: Shorthand + Typing Skill Test
  • Tier-IV: Interview – 10 Marks
  • Shorthand: 110 wpm for Senior Personal Assistant and 100 wpm for Personal Assistant
  • Typing: 40 wpm

Junior Judicial Assistant

  • Tier-I: MCQ – 120 Marks, 120 Minutes
  • Tier-II: Descriptive English – 100 Marks, 120 Minutes
  • Tier-III: Typing Test at 40 wpm
  • Tier-IV: Interview – 15 Marks

Process Server

  • Tier-I: Objective/MCQ – 100 Marks, 120 Minutes

Negative Marking: 0.25 marks will be deducted for every wrong MCQ answer. Minimum qualifying marks are 50% for UR/EWS and 45% for OBC (Delhi), SC, ST, PwBD and ESM categories.

How to Apply for DSSSB District Courts Recruitment 2026

Candidates should first complete registration on the DSSSB online portal. The registration is a one-time process, and the same login credentials can be used for DSSSB examinations. After registration, candidates should log in, select the relevant post, carefully enter all required details, upload the prescribed documents/photo/signature and pay the applicable fee through SBI e-Pay. The application must be submitted online between 06 October 2026 and 04 November 2026 up to 11:00 PM. No application through post, email or any other offline mode will be accepted.
