MP Police Driver Recruitment 2026: The Madhya Pradesh Employee Selection Board (MPESB), Bhopal has released the recruitment notification for Constable (Driver) Recruitment 2026 under the Madhya Pradesh Police Department. The recruitment is being conducted for 1000 Constable Driver vacancies, including 200 posts in Special Armed Force and 800 posts in District Police Force. The recruitment is only for male candidates.

Eligible candidates can submit the online application form from 15 October 2026 to 29 October 2026. The application correction window will remain open up to 03 November 2026, while the written examination is tentatively scheduled to begin from 04 January 2027.

MP Police Driver Recruitment 2026 Vacancies & Qualification

A heavy vehicle driving licence is mandatory for the Constable Driver posts. Candidates must also qualify the prescribed practical trade test.

MP Police Driver Recruitment 2026 Age Limit

The minimum age is 18 years, calculated as on 29 October 2026. The standard maximum age is 33 years for applicable male candidates, while specified MP-resident reserved categories, government employees and certain other eligible categories can receive relaxation up to 38 years. For reserved-category Vikram Award winners, the maximum age can extend up to 43 years as specified in the notification. Candidates from outside Madhya Pradesh are eligible only under the unreserved open category and do not receive age relaxation.

The official syllabus states that questions will be at approximately the Class 8 level of the Madhya Pradesh Board.

Physical Efficiency Test

The physical efficiency test carries a maximum of 40 marks. Candidates must obtain at least 30% of the total PET marks (8 out of 40), and a minimum of 20% marks in the 800-metre run is prescribed. The trade test is qualifying in nature.

For male candidates, the 800-metre run is evaluated according to the prescribed time-wise marks table, with up to 40 marks available.
