Punjab & Haryana High Court Frash Recruitment 2026: Notification Released & Apply Online

The High Court of Punjab and Haryana at Chandigarh has released the Detailed Employment Notice No. 05/Frash/HC/2026 for recruitment to the post of Frash. A total of 31 vacant posts are available, including 26 posts for General category, 3 for SC/ST/BC and 2 for Ex-Servicemen.

Eligible candidates can submit their applications online from 28 August 2026 to 18 September 2026. Candidates must have knowledge of Hindi and the regional language. Selection will be based on an Interview of 50 marks, followed by a qualifying Physical Endurance Test (PET) for candidates shortlisted category-wise.

Online transaction charges will be charged additionally. The application fee is non-refundable. Dependents of Ex-Servicemen who were disabled/deceased during active operation are exempt from the application fee, subject to submission of the required proof.

Educational Qualification

The official notification does not prescribe a separate educational qualification such as 10th or 12th pass; it specifically mentions knowledge of Hindi and regional language for the Frash post.

Punjab & Haryana High Court Frash Recruitment 2026 Age Limit

The candidate must be at least 18 years old and not more than 35 years old as on 18 September 2026. For Ex-Servicemen candidates, the upper age limit will be relaxed by the number of years equal to their defence service plus 3 years. Candidates must fulfill the age and other eligibility conditions on the last date of online application.

For proof of date of birth, the notification accepts the Matriculation Certificate issued by a recognized Education Board where the candidate is matriculate or above, or a Birth Certificate issued by the Registrar of Births and Deaths where the candidate has qualification below Matriculation.

The pay and allowances of selected candidates will be governed according to the latest applicable rules and instructions issued by the Government of Punjab and adopted by the Punjab & Haryana High Court for its employees.

The notification does not specify a separate fixed salary figure in the detailed employment notice.

The selection process consists of:

1. Interview – 50 Marks
   • Suitability to the Job – 25 Marks
   • Etiquettes/Manners – 25 Marks
2. Physical Endurance Test (PET) – Qualifying
3. Final merit based on Interview marks among candidates who qualify the PET.

After the Interview, candidates equivalent to four times the advertised vacancies in each category, according to Interview merit, will be called for the Physical Endurance Test.

The Physical Endurance Test consists of three activities:

• 800 Meter Race
• Long Jump
• High Jump

The PET is qualifying in nature. Candidates must qualify in all events; failure in any event will result in disqualification from the next event.
