CRPF Sports Quota Recruitment 2026: The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) has released the Sports Quota Recruitment 2026 notification for recruitment to Havaldar/GD and Constable/GD (Sports) posts. A total of 521 vacancies are available for eligible male and female meritorious sportspersons. The recruitment is being conducted under Sports Quota 2026.

The online application process will begin on 12 October 2026 and continue up to 11 November 2026. Candidates can apply only through the official CRPF recruitment website. CRPF Sports Quota Recruitment 2026 Sports Eligibility

The recruitment is specifically for meritorious sportspersons. Eligible sports achievements include prescribed participation/medals at international, national, inter-university, junior national, National School Games and Khelo India competitions, depending upon the post and category.

The notification covers 22 sports disciplines, including Athletics, Aquatics, Archery, Badminton, Basketball, Boxing, Football, Gymnastics, Handball, Hockey, Judo, Kabaddi, Karate, Shooting, Taekwondo, Volleyball, Water Sports, Weightlifting, Wushu, Wrestling and Yoga.

CRPF Sports Quota Recruitment 2026 Age Limit

The prescribed age limit is 18 to 23 years as on 01 August 2026. Candidates should have been born not before 02 August 2003 and not later than 01 August 2008. Category-wise relaxation is available as prescribed in the notification.

For meritorious sportspersons, the notification provides additional age relaxation, including 5 years for UR, 8 years for OBC-NCL and 10 years for SC/ST candidates, with separate provisions for Ex-Servicemen and departmental candidates.

Height:

• Male: 170 cm
• Female: 157 cm

Relaxed height standards are available for specified categories/regions.

Chest for Male Candidates:

• Normal: 80 cm
• Minimum Expansion: 5 cm

Relaxed chest standards apply to specified categories. Weight should be proportionate to height and age according to the prescribed medical standards.

The selection process consists of:
