Indian Coast Guard CGEPT Recruitment 2026-27: Notification Out for 365 Posts

The Indian Coast Guard (ICG), Ministry of Defence, has released the recruitment notification for Coast Guard Enrolled Personnel Test (CGEPT) 2026-27 for recruitment to enrolled personnel posts. The recruitment is being conducted for CGEPT-01/27 and CGEPT-02/27 batches, and eligible male and female Indian citizens can apply as per the post-wise eligibility conditions. The online application process will be conducted through the Staff Selection Commission portal.

Applications for CGEPT 2026-27 will be accepted online from 06 October 2026 (11:00 Hrs) to 21 October 2026 (17:30 Hrs). Indian Coast Guard CGEPT Age Limit

  • For Navik (GD) – CGEPT-01/27 & 02/27, candidates should be born between 01 November 2005 and 01 May 2009.
  • For Yantrik – CGEPT-01/27, candidates should be born between 01 May 2005 and 01 May 2009.
  • For Navik (DB) – CGEPT-02/27, candidates should be born between 01 November 2005 and 01 October 2009.
  • For Hygienist – CGEPT-01/27, candidates should be born between 01 November 2007 and 01 October 2009.
  • Age relaxation is applicable as per the notification: OBC – 03 years and SC/ST – 05 years, wherever applicable.

Candidates should apply online only through the prescribed SSC recruitment portal during the application period.
